Claire’s story

I’m Claire, an artist, reader, writer and mum. I’m inspired by illustration and craft, so my style of drawing is playful, punchy and (one hopes) distinctive. I’ve worked in paint and multimedia but lately I’ve had the fortune to break into making character art for books. I love working with authors to bring the things in their head into a visual medium. There’s no greater pleasure than when someone says “that’s exactly what I pictured!”
